How to overcome Life’s Ambushes and Situations

It is not by surprise the hell jumping off in your life. We have a written account that this would happen. For example, it is written,
“51 Do you suppose that I have come to give peace upon earth? No, I say to you, but rather division;
52 For from now on in one house there will be five divided [among themselves], three against two and two against three.
53 They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and
daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:51-53 AMP
The Ambush
The ambush is orchestrated by an enemy that is spiritual “in nature,” but his deeds are very tangible. For instance, he persuades you to execute the evil thought you have. This is not to blame Satan only for the wickedness in the world. However, he influences and instigates sudden life occurrences to trigger our SIN-Nature to rise (THE AMBUSH).
Our spiritual enemy taps into our weaker self (Carnal Mindset) to manipulate our responses to the occurrence in a manner we become accursed. For example, when and where family betrays you or strangers falsely accuse you, threatening your freedom and livelihood.
The Ambush is to create as many Casualties as possible. Your health, relationships, work, and peace are disturbed to provoke a response worthy of God’s Wrath. THE PURPOSE OF THE AMBUSH.
Are you a casualty of such an ambush?
Notice that the ambush is strategically targeted at those who have recently changed their lives for the better. You know, people who have turned their lives over to the LORD! You are no longer the person deserving the suffering, but the ambush is to trigger the “old-you” that is deserving so the enemy may validate his claim that you are not worthy to escape the Wrath of God.
The Situation
Now the situation becomes evident for all to witness and participate as puppets by provoking more reason for you to empower your “old-self” (Sinful-nature) to rise. When the unrestrained you rise up, the results are devastating. For instance, your spirit and soul become casualties of a spiritual war, while your physical being receives the ex-communication and cancellation.
The current events “happening” in your life at the hands of both loved ones and strangers are timed and placed strategically to cause the most damage. Here, we must consider the all-out assault to produce a response that proves mismanagement of Conduct, Behavior, Reasoning, Decisions, Conscience, and Emotions. Checkmate!
Have you already responded and found yourself in the end-game?
This too was mentioned in the scriptures when it says,
“21 But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets,
22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction,
23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory [b]which God bestows and receives.
24 [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,
25 Whom God put forward [[c]before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment.” Romans 3:21-25 AMP
What must we do to overcome life’s ambushes and situations?
In considering the scripture above, it is safe to say Jesus is the answer. For instance, it takes someone who has already been through what you are going through to understand. Satan entered Judas (someone close) to betray Jesus over to His haters. Strangers were bought (deceived by the haters’ offerings and promises) to “falsely accuse” Jesus and legally destroy Him.
What did Jesus do?
Jesus, already privy this would happen, did not give them the response they sought. He remained self-controlled and restrained His EMOTIONS and did not FIGHT back. Jesus recognized this was their moment of darkness. Notice that Jesus discerned that they were blinded by their ambitions, offenses, and ignorance. This is tough! Nonetheless, Jesus’ response was pleasing unto God because the purpose was being fulfilled.
*Lukewarm persons watching saying nothing are the cowards in the midst who know the truth and won’t speak up for those being persecuted after being changed. No worries!
But, how did Jesus overcome this moment?
Jesus manages the situation as the King that He is! He held to the truth while they slandered, tortured, and humiliated Him before the world. Jesus as a man, endured and forgave the culprits and cowards who made this moment possible. Jesus looked past this horrifying moment and focused on the GLORY that comes afterward.
The Demonstration provided by Jesus inspires us not to disown, be afraid, nor allow ourselves to stop believing, trusting, and valuing God as God. We must follow His example and show patience and faithfulness as we are cut down and torn asunder by those deceived, seduced, and ignorant of their doings.
Peace is ours as a reward! Following Jesus’ example is how we will overcome Life’s ambushes and situations. Respond as a king during the Ambush! Manage the Situation as a king!
